Forgotten Landscape (2020)
Buchla and Hordijk analog systems, and Blippoo Box

Forgotten Landscape was created using sounds and music composed for the soundtrack of Kevin Pontuti’s film, The Yellow Wallpaper. Although each part can be experienced individually, it is intended to be heard as an extended work in 4 parts, evolving slowly across its 46 minute duration. Part 4 is heard as 2 sections combining Interlude (Cloud and Sky) with the final section of the work.

When I consider the experience of this piece, I think of it perhaps less like listening to music but more akin to sitting quietly, viewing a landscape. Details slowly emerge while small changes combine to shift perspective across the scene.

Music coming soon – stay tuned!
