Sakura Time at the Kabuki

Yesterday we were at the National Theatre again for another Kabuki play. We saw Ehon Gappo ga Tsugi, a tale of incredible evil and revenge.

Four killings in the first very short scene and after that I lost count. It was quite amazing! Very stylized, of course, and incredible music and costumes.

But the big reason for this post is SAKURA time in Japan. Pictures of the cherry blossoms at the theatre.

They are wonderfully beautiful and of course everyone takes pictures. I'll post a lot more tomorrow as we spent today at Shinjuku Gyoen and it was perfect for Hanami!
